What are Whatsapp Templates?
  • WhatsApp Templates are pre-designed messages that can be sent to customers via WhatsApp.
  • In the WhatsDesk application, users can create and manage message templates for seamless customer communication.
  • Templates can be used for various purposes such as announcements, support tickets, and payment-related messages.
  • All templates are categorized under two types: Utility and Marketing. While creating a template, you must correctly identify and select the appropriate type. If the category is mismatched, then Meta will not approve the template.
  • A live preview feature is available during template creation, allowing users to see how the message will appear.
  • WhatsDesk also provides example templates to help users get started quickly and follow best practices.

List of Templates
  • The templates list table includes the following columns:
    Template Name: Displays the name of the template.
  • Category: Displays the category of the created template.
  • Template Status: Shows the template’s status as defined in "Meta."
  • Create Date: Shows the date the template was created.
  • Actions: Provides options to view the template, with additional actions to edit or cancel on the viewing page.

Examples of Templates

Navigation to Examples:

Go to the Admin Panel and select the "WhatsApp Templates" page. Click on the "Examples" button — this will navigate you to the Examples page.

In our WhatsDesk application, we provide examples of commonly used or required templates. Users can refer to these examples while creating their own templates.
